Shiitake Bitterbalen

  Shiitake Salad

* Serves 4

Ingredients :

  • 200 g SHIITAKE, minced
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g cheddar cheese, grated
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g onion, finely chopped
  • 50 g boiled carrot, finely diced
  • 1 tbs parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbs margarine / butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 100 g bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, briefly beaten

Methods :

  1. Melt margarine / butter and fry chopped onion until fragrant
  2. Add mushrooms and flour, stir well
  3. Pour milk, stir constantly until the sauce boils and thickens
  4. Add cheese, parsley, salt and pepper, stir to combine.
  5. Remove, allow to cool and roll the mixture into balls according to preference
  6. Roll the balls in the mixture of eggs and bread crumbs
  7. Fry a few at a time until golden brown and serve immediately
