* Serves 2
Ingredients :
- 100 g SHIMEJI, parboiled and chopped
- 50 g flour
- 1 egg
- 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbs chicken stock / 1 piece chicken stock
- Margarine / butter
- Cooking oil
- 100 g bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, briefly beaten for batter
Methods :
- Add in mushrooms, flour, egg, garlic, pepper, nutmeg, salt and
chicken stock, mix well
- Coat baking pan with margarine / butter and pour the mixture into
the pan, level it evenly
- Steam for ± 30 minutes until cooked, remove and allow to
cool
- Cut nuggets according to preference, dip them into egg batter, coat
nuggets with bread crumbs, refrigerate for ± 60 minutes
- Fry nuggets with cooking oil until golden brown
- Nuggets can be served hot with ketchup
