Shiitake in Thai Sauce

  Shiitake Salad

* Serves 2

Ingredients :

  • 200 g SHIITAKE, without stalks

Marinade Ingredients :

  • 4 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 2 tbs margarine/butter, melted

Thai Sauce Ingredients :

  • 2 tbs tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbs chilli sauce
  • 2 tbs red chilli, finely chopped
  • 50 g onion, finely chopped
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 cm ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbs cooking oil

Methods :

  1. To make Thai sauce : fry onion until fragrant. Add tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, red chilli, water, vinegar, ginger and sugar, stir until it boils, remove and set aside
  2. Put mushrooms in marinade sauce, mix well
  3. Bake mushrooms until cooked, transfer to plate
  4. Pour Thai sauce over it, serve
